WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

The Interior Reflects in the Exterior

The Interior Reflects in the Exterior
Sunday Reflection For the 4th Week of Advent
Father Richard Voigt (Resistance)

Every man, woman and child have entered this world through a womb that
received a seed from a loving husband.  This is called conception through the
inception of a seed.  In the case of the Blessed Mother the seed was given through the overshadowing of the Holy Ghost and hence we find conception through perception.
Scripture confirms that "the Word was made Flesh and dwells among us."

Hence every soul has the potential of giving birth to Our Lord through the perception of the word within our hearts.  This interior reality is proclaimed by the great angel of God, John the Baptist.  The word came to him while he was within the womb of his mother, Elizabeth.
That word stirred his very being and filled him with the holy Ghost and so he leaped for joy in the womb of his mother.  Hence Elizabeth cried out in a great voice "Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb."

This Word of God is eternal, creative and prophetic.  It reaches down into the very marrow of our being and interprets every reality we experience from the depths of divine wisdom.  This Word reaches the political order and subdues it; it reaches the religious order and corrects it.  Neither politics nor high priests can stop its eternal conquest of the human soul.  The Word is coming again to find hearts that have been prepared to recognize and receive Him, the King of kings.

Make straight the paths of the Lord.  This is a call to humility and to purity without which we cannot contain the holy one of God.  Do you want an interior life with God?  Humble thyself and repent of your sins.  Eliminate any and every attachment to your will and grasp at purity of heart in order to make a worthy dwelling place for the Word of God.  Cut down your pride which creates
a mountain of resistance; cast out your vanity which a sterile hill.  Imitate the pattern established in the Heart of God and humble thyself.  Forget those continuous condemnations of others - they are fruitless reflections.  Let your tongues proclaim the glory of God which reaches to all creation and through all times.

Prove by the exterior voice that your heart is united and filled with God for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will proclaim the state of your heart.  If you are filled with God and His Divine Word of Love, then you will plead for your neighbor.  If you are filled with self, you will condemn and criticize.  Study your conversations through one week and mark down how many times you put down another in your speech.  As you condemn so you shall be condemned.  As you forgive so you shall be forgiven.  The principle remains the save forever:  the interior is begotten by the word spoken and the exterior will manifest the heart's disposition.

These are the final days of our preparation to receive God's Word of love.  How grateful we should be that He deigns to take upon Himself our human flesh to save us from the slavery of sin.  Take the time to read the Holy Gospel and fill your hearts with the word of God which will lift you up.
Know that He loves you and will never cast you down if you but prepare a sweet manger for Him to dwell.  IF He dwells in you, the world will know it by your joyful expressions.  May God bless you and your families with the Word Made Flesh.

In  the hearts of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Fr. Richard Voigt
